But consider: anti-gunners like to tell us the only people who should have guns are the police because they've undergone training and know when to use a gun.
The implication: the police don't make mistakes when it comes to using a firearm.

What happens with the millions of gun owners who have not gone through training. Do you want your family to be in front of their gun when they think a terrorist is robbing the quicky mart?

I expect gun owners--especially those who consider themselves responsible gun owners--not only to ensure they take gun safety classes but also take classes that deal with all aspects of defensive shooting.
The adage may be trite but it does speak volumes: "With great power comes great responsibility."
Put another way: if you don't respect the power of fire, it will burn you.
